Role: Lead Talend Developer

Location: Columbus, OH (Hybrid)

Contract duration: 10+ months

Nice-to-have skills:

Snowflake, ETL, Talend, SQL, Python, PySpark

Is industry experience needed for this role and why? Retail is preferred

Responsibilities:

Strong experience in MicroStrategy application development

Experience in Report and dashboard development (grids, graphs, scorecards)

Creating MicroStrategy objects metrics, filters, prompts, templates, consolidations, transformations, and custom groups

Implementing application lifecycle management by copying and comparing applications, schema, and configuration objects using MicroStrategy Object Manager

Experience in SQL and query optimization

Data modeling experience in designing the semantic layer, schema layer, and dimension modeling

Star schema and snowflake schema design

Advanced skills in development of attributes, facts, dimensions, transformations, grids, and dashboards

Dynamic dashboards and scorecards

KPI visualizations and trend analysis

MicroStrategy REST API usage

Integration with data sources (databases, flat files, cloud data warehouses like Snowflake, Redshift)

Python, Java, or R for extended data processing

Strong analytical abilities, problem-solving, attention to detail, and effective communication for collaborating with business users
