Production Manager - Manufacturing

Production Manager Opportunity!

Our client, a well-established food manufacturing operation,

is seeking a Production Manager to lead a production shift in a USDA-regulated environment. If you are an experienced plant supervisor who understands food safety, thrives on the production floor, and can drive safety, quality, and efficiency while leading large hourly teams,

Requirements & Key Responsibilities:

Supervise daily production operations for an assigned shift

Train, manage, and provide feedback to production employees and crew leads

Enforce food safety, personal safety, GMP, and HACCP standards

Ensure production efficiencies, quality targets, and staffing requirements are met

Prepare daily efficiency and production reports

Verify HACCP documentation and monitor compliance

Troubleshoot production and equipment issues; coordinate with maintenance

Ensure accurate product identification, weighing, and warehousing

Maintain complete and accurate production paperwork

Required Qualifications:

8+ years of food processing experience (meat industry required)

USDA and HACCP experience required

5+ years prior experience supervising large production teams (35+ employees)

Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills

Ability to prioritize tasks and meet production deadlines

Proficiency with Microsoft Office or similar reporting tools

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Meat/Agriculture Science, Supply Chain, or related field

BRC or advanced food safety exposure
