Urologist DaVinci Robotics Balanced Practice

Mackinac Straits Health System is seeking a full-time, board-certified or board-eligible Urologist to join an established, active practice at our 15-bed critical access hospital and modern St. Ignace Medical Clinic in Michigans Upper Peninsula.

Position Highlights

Established urology practice within a collaborative hospital clinic alongside Primary Care, Internal Medicine, Cardiology, Oncology, and other specialists.

Balanced mix of outpatient clinic, inpatient consults, and dedicated operating-room surgical days.

DaVinci robotic, laparoscopic, and open surgery kidney, bladder, prostate, and minimally invasive procedures.

Manageable volume averaging 18-20 patients per day.

Dedicated clinic staff, 1:1 medical assistant support, and structured administrative time for charting.

EPIC electronic health record integrated across the MyMichigan Health network.

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM-4:00 PM, with a flexible, family-friendly work environment.

Position Requirements

MD or DO from an accredited institution.

Board Certified or Board Eligible (BC/BE) in Urology.

Eligible for an unrestricted medical license in the State of Michigan.
