QSSHire is seeking a Senior Software Developer to support the development and operation of enterprise-scale, serverless cloud solutions for a mission-critical customer. This role focuses on designing, developing, and enhancing modern cloud-based applications while collaborating with engineering teams and stakeholders to deliver scalable, reliable, and innovative capabilities.

Working within an Agile environment, you'll leverage modern web technologies, cloud development expertise, and software engineering best practices to build next-generation solutions that directly support mission operations.

In This Role, You'll:

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-scale cloud applications supporting mission-critical operations.

• Build serverless cloud-based architectures that are scalable, secure, and highly available.

• Develop front-end and back-end application components using JavaScript, React, Node.js, Python, and .NET technologies.

• Collaborate with engineers, customers, and mission partners to define technical requirements and innovative solutions.

• Develop cloud-native applications and services within AWS environments.

• Participate in application design, code reviews, testing, and continuous improvement activities.

• Troubleshoot application issues and optimize system performance and reliability.

• Support Agile/Scrum software development activities throughout the development lifecycle.

• Develop technical documentation and support software deployment activities.

• Contribute to the implementation of modern software engineering best practices.

You'll Succeed Here If You Have:

• Active TS/SCI with Polygraph required to start.

• Six (6) or more years of professional experience in software development or application engineering.

• Strong proficiency with JavaScript, React, Node.js, and Python.

• Experience developing applications using .NET Framework 3.5.

• Experience developing cloud-native applications within AWS environments.

• Experience designing and supporting serverless cloud architectures.

• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies.

• Experience working within Agile/Scrum development teams.

• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Desired Skills:

• Experience developing enterprise-scale cloud applications.

• Experience with AWS serverless services such as Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, or similar technologies.

• Experience integrating front-end and back-end applications.

• Knowledge of cloud security and secure application development best practices.

• Experience supporting mission-critical or classified environments.

• Familiarity with DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and automated software deployments.

• Experience collaborating directly with customers and mission stakeholders.

Degree Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical field.

• Equivalent professional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
