Oncology - Radiation Physician

Facility in Bloomington, IL seeking RadOnc locums coverage Rates: $375/hr Opportunity Highlights

Start Date: July 20, 2026.

Schedule: 8:00 AM 4:30 PM (No call responsibilities).

Location: Bloomington, Illinois.

EMR: EPIC.

Credentialing: 60-day timeframe; Full and Temporary privileges available. Confirmed 2026 Coverage Dates

July: 20th 24th

October: Any one week (provider choice/alignment)

November: 9th 13th AND one additional week (must not be consecutive with the 9th 13th) Clinical Scope & Typical Day The physician must be on-site daily to provide clinical oversight of the treatment vault and patient assessments.

On-Treatment Visits (OTVs): Conducted every Wednesday to assess patient tolerance and progress.

Clinical Oversight: Be on-site during all clinic hours to ensure patient treatments proceed safely and without interruption.

Collaboration: Work closely with radiation therapists, oncology nurses, and dosimetrists.

Patient Mix: 50% Adult / 50% Pediatric (as per facility profile). Provider Requirements

Board Status: Board Certified in Radiation Oncology (Required).

Experience: Minimum of 1 year of post-residency experience.

Licensure: Active Illinois (IL) State License and IL CSR in hand (Required). IMLC is not accepted for this role.

Certifications: Active ACLS and BLS (Required).
