Mobridge Regional Hospital has an opening for a full-time or part-time Nursing Assistant,
We are looking for someone with great people skills, a strong work ethic, and a positive attitude to join our team and provide compassionate care to our patients.
The Nursing Assistant is responsible for providing direct patient care in a safe, efficient, and professional manner. This position works cooperatively with all levels of staff while maintaining a respectful and supportive environment for patients, families, and coworkers.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct patient care (bathing, grooming, oral care, nutrition, mobility, and elimination)
Take and record vital signs; report any abnormalities
Assist nurses with treatments and daily care tasks
Accurately document care in the electronic medical record (EMR)
Maintain patient confidentiality and treat all individuals with respect and dignity
Ensure patient rooms and work areas are clean, stocked, and safe
Use proper infection control procedures and personal protective equipment (PPE)
Operate basic medical equipment (e.g., lifts, vital sign machines)
Communicate effectively with team members and support a positive work environment Qualifications:
Current CPR certification (or ability to obtain)
Valid driver’s license (required for Home Health roles)
Strong attention to detail, teamwork, and communication skills Additional Expectations:
Maintain professionalism, reliability, and punctuality
Follow hospital policies, safety procedures, and emergency protocols
Support team members and contribute to a positive patient experience
