Assignment Length: 13 weeks
Start Date: September 8, 2026
Schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, rotating days and nights; every other weekend
Shift Duration: 12-hour rotating shifts
Hours per Week: 36
On-Call: Required
Floating: Required within units of equivalent or lower acuity as needed
Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,940-$2,040
Patient Ratio: Approximately 1:1-2
Job Requirements
Minimum 2 years of Neuro ICU experience
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in hand at time of submission
BCLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
Previous travel nursing experience preferred
Experience with Epic is preferred
Strong critical care skills, including ventilator management and invasive monitoring
Ability to work rotating shifts, weekends, and a collaborative team-based environment
Responsibilities
Provide high-quality nursing care to adult Neuro ICU patients
Monitor and manage patients with strokes, seizures, neuromuscular disorders, meningitis, and post-operative neurosurgical conditions
Support invasive neuromonitoring, including ICP and EVD monitoring
Care for mechanically ventilated patients and manage advanced ICU therapies
Perform and assist with bedside procedures such as tracheostomy and PEG-related care
Administer medications, titrate drips, and respond quickly to changes in patient condition
Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to deliver safe, efficient, patient-centered care
