Maintenance Technician
Pay: $28.00–$34.00/hour + $1.00/hour Shift Differential
Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join a growing manufacturing team. This role is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing production equipment and facility systems to ensure maximum equipment reliability and minimize downtime. The ideal candidate has a strong mechanical background and is comfortable working in a fast-paced industrial environment.
Key Responsibilities
Perform preventative maintenance on production equipment and major facility assets.
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical issues on manufacturing equipment.
Complete scheduled building and facility maintenance.
Perform maintenance and repairs on material handling equipment as needed.
Document completed work, repairs, and preventative maintenance activities within the CMMS/work order system.
Maintain inventory of maintenance parts, supplies, and consumables through the CMMS.
Identify opportunities to improve equipment reliability and reduce downtime.
Follow all company safety procedures and maintain a clean work environment.
Qualifications
Previous experience in industrial or manufacturing maintenance.
Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills, including experience with:
Hydraulics
Pneumatics
Gearboxes
Bearings
Conveyors and other industrial equipment
Experience troubleshooting and working with:
Three-phase motors
Industrial electrical wiring
Motor controls
Basic PLC troubleshooting experience is preferred but extensive programming experience is not required.
Experience with Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs) and servo systems is a plus.
Experience using a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) is preferred.
Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
Ability to work independently and as part of a maintenance team.

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to prioritize multiple maintenance tasks in a production environment.
Preventative maintenance experience in a manufacturing setting.
Knowledge of electrical and mechanical safety practices.
