DevOps Engineer (AWS)

San Jose, CA 6–12 Months Contract

Are you a Linux expert with deep AWS experience and a passion for automation & Disaster Recovery? We are looking for a hands-on DevOps Engineer to manage critical cloud infrastructure, drive performance tuning, and ensure business continuity.

Job Description:

Manage & troubleshoot Linux environments (RHEL, CentOS, Rocky, Ubuntu) – LVM, NFS, Systemd.

Architect and support AWS core services (EC2, VPC, IAM, S3, EBS, ELB, Auto Scaling, Route 53).

Implement Disaster Recovery strategies using AWS DRS – failover/failback, recovery testing, RPO/RTO.

Automate infrastructure with Ansible & Shell/Bash scripting.

Monitor systems via CloudWatch, CloudTrail, and optimize performance & networking.

Required Skills:

Strong Linux administration & troubleshooting.

AWS (EC2, VPC, S3, IAM, KMS, ELB, Auto Scaling, Systems Manager, AWS Backup).

Disaster Recovery (DRS, Business Continuity).

Automation (Ansible, Bash/Shell).

Preferred (Good to have):

Terraform or CloudFormation.

Grafana, Prometheus, or Splunk.
