Data Analytics Engineer (0081-0005)

Help design and implement multinational company's data analytics platform using SQL while collaborating with cross-functional Data Analysts, Data Engineers, and business stakeholders to design robust data solutions. Partner with Underwriting, Reinsurance, and Engineering teams to apply expertise in quantitative analysis, data mining, and statistical programming languages such as Python, R, and SAS. Create interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI to visualize complex data sets and provide insights to stakeholders. Design and develop pagination reports for large data sets using SQL and Microsoft Report Builder. Assist in conducting proof of concepts (POCs) for implementing enterprise-level tools, including Microsoft Purview and Fabric, to improve data quality and compliance. Work as part of a team responsible for designing and implementing business intelligence (BI) reports in SSRS, Power BI, Excel, and self-service data tools. Collaborate with data architects, developers, and key stakeholders to design robust BI data solutions. Write technical specifications for BI reporting and support data structures using ETL with SSIS and data warehousing methods. Ensure proper database architecture, coding standards, data quality, and integrity. Map multiple source databases to centralized SQL Server systems for BI and reporting. Support financial close processes and produce monthly reports. Conduct forecasting and analyze data discrepancies and quality issues. Maintain system protocols and assist with BI testing efforts. Develop tabular models using SSAS and Tabular Editor and create measures and calculated columns using DAX queries. Administer Power BI workspaces and assist with user access functions with row-level security. Perform storytelling through visualizations and data analysis to explain complex technical concepts to diverse audiences while keeping stakeholders and cross-functional teams engaged.

Education and Experience Requirements

Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Applied Computer Science, or Data Analytics and two (2) years of experience in job offered or two (2) years of data engineering/data analytics experience specializing in data mining and/or visualization
