Project Estimator

Select Search group has partnered with a construction client in the greater Myrtle Beach area that is experiencing strong growth, and is looking to add a new Project Estimator to their team! This Estimator to support a strong pipeline of sitework, earthwork, utility, and roadway projects. This is a growth-driven, newly created role with strong visibility and long-term advancement potential.

Position Details

Prepare quantity takeoffs and detailed cost estimates

Solicit and level subcontractor/vendor pricing

Build competitive bids across earthwork, utilities, grading, and paving

Partner with PMs and field teams on preconstruction strategy

Analyze historical data and production rates to support pricing

Required Experience

Experience in heavy civil / sitework estimating

Strong takeoff and bid-build experience

Familiarity with HCSS (HeavyBid/HeavyJob), Agtek, or similar tools

Knowledge of DOT / infrastructure projects is a plus

Ability to manage multiple bids and deadlines

Familiarity with HCCS, AGTEK, and/or Auto-CAD is preferred
