Position Overview

Seeking an experienced Board Certified or Truly Board Eligible Hematologist/Oncologist to provide outpatient hematology and oncology coverage. The provider will manage direct patient care, oversee the chemotherapy program, and perform bone marrow biopsies.

Compensation:

Orientation: $250/hr

Hourly: $505/hr

Holiday: $760/hr

Schedule

Start Date: January 1, 2027

Assignment Length: 9 12 months

Monday Thursday

3 days per week

8:00 AM 5:00 PM

No call

Practice Setting

Outpatient Oncology Clinic

Responsibilities

Provide outpatient hematology and oncology care

Evaluate new and established patients

Direct the chemotherapy program

Perform bone marrow biopsies

Manage approximately patients per day

Complete approximately 1 3 consultations per week

Hematology/Oncology-trained Advanced Practice Provider

Nursing staff

Requirements

MD or DO

Board Certified in Medical Oncology or Truly Board Eligible (within 5 years of residency completion)

Board Certified in Hematology (highly preferred)

Active Oregon license preferred (IMLC and licensing candidates accepted)

Completion of an accredited residency/fellowship

BLS

DEA (required during credentialing)

Must be able to perform bone marrow biopsies

Clean malpractice/background history preferred

Additional Information

Outpatient only with no inpatient responsibilities or admissions

Credentialing can be completed in approximately 30 days after receipt of a completed application
