Senior Full Stack Software Engineer with Security Clearance

About This Role

We're seeking a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer to support the Sponsor's mission in Chantilly, VA. This role blends hands-on, modern full stack development — Angular 18+ single-page applications on the front end and Java 17+/Spring Framework 6+ RESTful services on the back end — with technical project management across the full software development lifecycle. You'll design new system interfaces, develop detailed software designs, estimate and manage development schedules and deliverables, and build constructive relationships across customers, stakeholders, and technical teams, all while shipping production software in an Agile environment. Compensation

$180,000 - $280,000 (depending on experience) Security Clearance Required

TS/SCI w/ Full Scope Poly Key Responsibilities

Develop single-page applications using HTML5, CSS3, SCSS, TypeScript, and Angular 18+

Design and develop RESTful services using Java 17+, Spring Framework 6+, and Spring Security

Work with non-relational database systems such as DynamoDB

Troubleshoot internet/web-related protocols and technologies (e.g., Tomcat, Node.js, web services, SSL)

Develop JUnit and Jasmine tests using testing platforms such as Jest and Karma

Leverage DevOps tools (Git, Jenkins, Nexus) for version control, CI/CD, and artifact management

Provide technical project management across full lifecycle software development, including estimating and managing schedules and deliverables

Develop detailed software designs and associated deliverables; design new system interfaces

Coordinate, support, and participate in program meetings and reviews

Build and maintain constructive relationships among customers, stakeholders, technical teams, and contractors

Contribute to Agile development processes including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives Requirements

Active TS/SCI clearance with Full Scope Polygraph

Experience developing single-page applications using HTML5, CSS3, SCSS, TypeScript, and Angular 18+ (minimum 1 year with Angular)

Experience developing RESTful services using Java 17+ and Spring Framework 6+, including Spring Security

Experience working with non-relational database systems such as DynamoDB (other on-the-job database experience accepted)

Experience with and troubleshooting of internet/web-related protocols and technologies (e.g., Tomcat, Node.js, web services, SSL)

Experience developing JUnit and Jasmine tests and experience with testing platforms such as Jest or Karma

Experience using DevOps tools such as Git, Jenkins, and Nexus, or other software repositories

Demonstrated experience in technical project management with full lifecycle software development

Demonstrated experience estimating and managing software development schedules and deliverables

Demonstrated experience working in an Agile development environment

Demonstrated experience developing detailed software designs and associated deliverables

Demonstrated experience designing new system interfaces

Demonstrated experience coordinating, supporting, and participating in program meetings and reviews

Demonstrated experience building and maintaining constructive relationships among customers, stakeholders, technical teams, and contractors Preferred Qualifications

ServiceNow Certified Application Developer, or completion of requisite ServiceNow training for the certification

Demonstrated experience with ServiceNow Automated Test Framework (ATF)

Demonstrated experience developing and maintaining systems that utilize WebSockets

Demonstrated experience developing UIs using Angular Material

Demonstrated experience working in a fast-paced, Lean Agile environment

Demonstrated experience doing rapid prototyping and application development with significant user interaction

Demonstrated experience developing using AngularJS, Bootstrap, and jQuery

Demonstrated experience with scripting languages (e.g., Shell, Perl, Python) and/or the ability to automate routine operations through scripts or toolsets

Demonstrated experience with Sponsor IT systems, missions, and strategies

Demonstrated experience communicating with senior customers, senior management, and implementation partners

Demonstrated experience creating and maintaining Jira tickets

Demonstrated experience with AWS and Azure

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience) What We Offer
