We are seeking an early career Engineer to join our team in Columbus, Ohio. Your immediate work will focus on solutions for our water and wastewater projects and Clients. You will work on a variety of exciting projects that apply your critical thinking and problem-solving abilities. With Jacobs, you'll work on green infrastructure, stormwater collection/conveyance, water and wastewater projects to provide site/civil, process mechanical and hydraulic design solutions. You should be self-motivated with a long-term desire to grow personally as well as professionally within the Columbus area. Each project will provide career opportunities while delivering transformative projects for our clients.

Here's what you'll need:

Bachelor's Degree in Civil, Chemical, Mechanical, or Environmental Engineering

Professional Engineer (PE) certification or the ability to obtain one 6 months after hire

More than 4 years of consulting experience for municipal water and wastewater treatment plant clients

Conceptual knowledge of process mechanical designs, drinking and wastewater unit processes and technologies

Willingness to learn Jacobs' proprietary software tools

Ability to build relationships, resolve conflict and participate in diverse teams

Ideally, you'll also have:

Experience with hydraulic analyses

Involvement in professional society organizations, community organization or other leadership roles with volunteer organizations

The base salary range for this position is $90,000.00 to $130,000.00. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
