We are seeking skilled and dedicated Anesthesiologists for a locum tenens assignment starting in April 2025. This opportunity offers a collaborative and supportive environment, focusing on both supervision and direct patient care. Below are the details of the assignment: Assignment Overview:
Location: Near Piney Point, Maryland
Start Date: April 7, 2025
Duration: Ongoing
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Practice Setting: Inpatient
Number of Providers Needed: 2 Key Responsibilities:
Perform general and regional anesthesia for a variety of procedures.
Supervise Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs) and handle your own cases as needed.
Provide care for a wide range of surgical cases including:
Complex orthopedic, vascular, and neurosurgical procedures
Obstetrical and thoracic cases
Epidural and spinal anesthesia
Manage post-operative pain through techniques such as extremity blocks and epidural steroids. Facility Highlights:
Trauma Level: Level III
Operating Rooms: 14
EMR System: Epic
Support Staff: Collaborative team including CRNAs and other professionals. Requirements:
Board Certification: Must be board-certified in Anesthesiology.
Licensure: Active Maryland license or eligibility for IMLC.
Certifications: ACLS, ATLS, BLS, and ABLS required.
Credentialing Timeframe: Approximately 90 days. Benefits:
