Box Maker/Specialty Line Worker EAD - Euclid Day Shift

Number of openings: 1 Fulltime, Year Round

Location: A Line – Euclid Plant

Working Shift: Day Shift

Hours & Work Days: 5:30 am – 2:00 pm, Monday - Friday; May vary depending on production.

Qualifications:

· Must be flexible with the working schedule.

· Must have the ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.

· Must be able to do repetitive work while paying attention to detail.

· Must also be able to understand running orders.

· Must have the ability to read in English to read machine instructions.

· Experience with reading pack schedules.

· Must also have good communication skills.

· Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.

· Must have the ability to work with little or no supervision.

· Must also be able to understand running orders, fruit sizes, grades and variety.

· Basic computer skills.

· Must be able to stand 8 to 10 hours daily.

Duties:

· Feed flat cardboard stock into box machine.

· Check and reload glue, lubricating and maintaining the box machine.

· Assure the Production line is stocked up with necessary boxes at all times.

· Prepare boxes for next shift.

· Maintain machine and operating area clean.

· Review package quality to insure it meets company standards.

· Other duties may encompass other than the duties listed.

· Monitor the label and tray denester machines, keeping them constantly supplied.

· Clean and refill label cassettes.

· Operate an air hose to clean the tray denester machines.

· Supply packers and stampers with supplies.

· Empty cull boxes.

· Maintain a clean and organized work area.

· Occasionally supply box machine operator with boxes.

· Ensure that packers always have the supplies needed to pack product.

· In charge of putting supplies away.

· Responsible for keeping the tape machines loaded at all times.

· Must communicate very well and be ready for size changes.

· Dusting and general cleaning of the machine is required.

· Other duties may be assigned.
