Job Description

Number of openings: 1 Fulltime, Year Round

Location: A Line – Olds

Working Shift: Night Shift

Hours & Work Days: 4:00 pm – 12:30 am, Monday – Friday; May require weekends as needed.

This position will require a pre-employment drug test.

Qualifications:

· High school diploma or general education degree (GED).

· Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.

· Ability to write simple correspondence.

· Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.

· Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.

· Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

· Oracle and Discoverer capabilities.

· Intermediate computer skills.

· Must be able to read, speak and write English.

· Must regularly lift and /or move up to 10 pounds.

Duties:

· Displays an excellent ability to communicate.

· Can read and understand pack schedules.

· Sets up fruit drops on the sizer.

· Adjusts sizer weight and colors per grade requirement.

· Maintains pace with production line.

· Maintains efficient and clean work area.

· Know Stemilt fruit grades.

· Consistently striving to improve sorting capabilities of the machine.

· Must be able to compile daily data and send to appropriate groups.

· Utilize the full spectrum of tools at hand to maximize grower returns.

· Mechanically inclined.

· May encompass other duties than those listed.
