At Converse, we're looking for an organized, driven, and solutions-focused construction professional to join our team as a Project Manager. This role is more than managing electrical construction projects - it's an opportunity to become a trusted leader who builds strong client relationships, empowers field teams, and helps deliver exceptional projects from start to finish.
As our Project Manager, you'll oversee every phase of commercial electrical construction projects while balancing safety, quality, budget, schedule, and customer satisfaction. You'll collaborate closely with Project Executives, Superintendents, Foremen, customers, vendors, and office staff to ensure projects are completed successfully and profitably.

What You'll Do
Project Leadership & Execution
Manage commercial electrical construction projects from award through closeout.
Develop project execution strategies that support safety, quality, profitability, and customer satisfaction.
Lead, mentor, and support field teams while promoting accountability and collaboration.
Monitor project progress and proactively resolve challenges before they impact schedule or budget.
Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and according to contract requirements.
Financial & Contract Management
Own the financial performance of assigned projects.
Monitor job costs, labor productivity, material expenditures, and overall project profitability.
Prepare and review budgets, forecasts, and financial reports.
Manage contracts, subcontract agreements, and purchase orders.
Negotiate and process contract changes, change orders, and project modifications.
Review pay applications and ensure accurate project billing.
Client & Team Relationships
Serve as the primary point of contact for customers throughout the life of each project.
Build strong relationships through proactive communication and exceptional customer service.
Coordinate closely with Project Executives, Superintendents, Foremen, Estimating, Accounting, and vendors.
Manage client expectations while providing timely updates on project status.
Foster teamwork and collaboration among all project stakeholders.
Planning, Documentation & Risk Management
Review and interpret project drawings, specifications, contracts, schedules, and scope documents.
Manage Requests for Information (RFIs), submittals, change orders, and other project documentation.
Identify project risks early and implement strategies to minimize schedule, financial, or operational impacts.
Maintain complete and accurate project records throughout every phase of construction.
Document lessons learned and recommend process improvements that strengthen future project performance.
Safety & Quality
Champion Converse Electric's commitment to safety on every project.
Ensure compliance with company policies, OSHA regulations, NFPA 70E requirements, and safety expectations.
Partner with field leadership to maintain the highest standards of workmanship and quality.
Promote a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and safe work practices.
What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications
Five (5) or more years of electrical commercial construction project management experience.
Strong understanding of construction contracts, drawings, specifications, and project documentation.
Financial acumen with experience managing project budgets and job costing.
Experience with ERP software, Microsoft Office Suite, and project management software.
Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
Strong problem-solving abilities with the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
Ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities simultaneously.
Valid driver's license with the ability to travel to jobsites as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
Experience managing commercial electrical construction projects.
Experience with Spectrum/Viewpoint or similar ERP systems.
Knowledge of estimating, procurement, scheduling, and work-in-progress (WIP) reporting.
OSHA 30 certification.
PMP or other project management certifications are a plus.
