Pathology Physician

Facility in Denison, TX seeking Pathology locums coverage Rates: $2500/day. telephone call only from the lab. NO autopsies. Opportunity Highlights

Structured Schedule: The schedule is Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM - 5:00 PM on-site, with weeknight call from 5:00 PM - 7:30 AM. Weekend call is also available. You must be within a 30-minute response time for call.

High-Volume Practice: You'll handle a daily volume of 45-55 cases, split among three pathologists. The case mix includes a wide variety of surgical pathology specimens (breast, colon, derm, GYN, lung, etc.), as well as frozen sections and FNAs.

Collaborative Environment: You will work with a team of pathologists and have phone access to sub-specialty pathologists for consultation.

EMR System: The facility uses Cerner Fusion for charting; Cerner experience is preferred.

Quick Privileging: The facility can grant expedited privileges in 30-45 days.

Dates Needed: We have an immediate need for coverage on specific dates in November, December, and April, with the possibility of ongoing coverage. Responsibilities

Provide anatomic and clinical pathology services in a busy hospital setting.

Manage a wide range of surgical pathology cases, including frozen sections and FNAs.

Be available for weeknight and weekend call. Provider Requirements

Board Status: AP/CP Board Certified is required.

Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a busy hospital setting is required.

Licensure: An active Texas State License is required. An IMLC is also accepted.

Location: Must be local enough to be within a 30-minute call response time. Start Date
