As a IT QA Automation Developer, you strive to lead both your team and your projects. You are comfortable testing during the whole life cycle of software development. Develop test plans, test cases, scenarios, and other related lifecycle documentation
Create, execute, and maintain automated performance and functional test scripts
Test issues of varied scope and complexity
Generate test data
Identifying defects and requirement discrepancies
Analyze and report performance and functional test results
Document and track software defects from discovery to successful correction, validation and verification, using a bug tracking system
Communicate project status and risks to management
Facilitate test meetings as needed for assigned project
Maintain and improve software testing processes
Participate with BSA and Development teams to ensure testing matches requirements and fulfills the intended business needs
Other duties as assigned by IT Quality Assurance Manager Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
2-5 years of relevant experience required
Ability to communicate verbally and interact with staff and employees at all levels
Ability to multi-task, meet deadlines and work in a team-oriented environment
Excellent verbal and interpersonal communication skills to convey testing results
Must demonstrate proficiency with:
Software Applications, such as: Azure DevOps, Visual Studio, Selenium, Postman, MS Office suite, Internet web browsers
Understanding of BDD, C#, and/or other languages used in automation testing
Automation and manual testing of Unit, functional, negative, regression, system integration, acceptance, security, API, and performance testing
CI/CD, Pipeline, test planning, test execution, test result analysis and reporting automation
Understanding of the "Software Development Life cycle"
The expected pay range for this role and location is $110,000 - $120,000/year. The final agreed-upon compensation will be determined based on specific location and other individual qualifications. About Us
