Assistant Cook

About Us HOP is a growing, health-focused food manufacturer based in Hawally, Kuwait.

We specialize in producing a premium range of locally sourced jarred foods, fermented products, healthy beverages, and nutritious snacks.

We are expanding our kitchen team and looking for a hardworking, reliable Assistant Cook to support our senior kitchen team.

Job Summary As our third kitchen team member, you will work closely with our two experienced cooks to support daily operations.

Your primary role will be to assist with prep work, actual cooking, packaging, and maintaining our high standards of kitchen cleanliness.

Key Responsibilities • Food Prep: Wash, chop, and portion ingredients (vegetables, grains, spices). • Cooking: Assist the senior cooks with daily food and beverage preparation.

• Packaging: Bottle, jar, seal, and label finished products accurately.

• Sanitation: Clean tools, sanitize workstations, and maintain food safety.

• Inventory: Help receive, organize, and store ingredients in the pantry and fridge.

Requirements & Qualifications • Experience: Prior experience working in a commercial kitchen or restaurant.

• Visa: Must hold a transferable Article 18 work visa in Kuwait.

• Health Card: Valid Kuwait Municipality (Baladiya) Health Card is preferred.

• Work Ethic: Fit to stand for long periods and work 8–10 hour shifts.

• Teamwork: Ability to follow instructions and collaborate in a small team.
