Experience:: 7+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, or Product Analyst within an IT company, consultancy, or SaaS environment, Deep familiarity with Agile and Scrum environments, as well as product tools like Jira, Confluence, Miro, or Figma..

What You Will Do (Responsibilities)

● Translate and Bridge: Uncover business needs through stakeholder interviews, workshops, and data analysis. Translate those needs into actionable epics, user stories, and technical requirements.

● Map and Optimize: Analyze existing systems and workflows. Create clear process maps, sequence diagrams, and wireframes to visualize as-is and to-be solutions.

● Partner with Tech: Collaborate closely with Developers, Tech Leads, and QA engineers during Agile ceremonies like sprint planning, grooming, and standups to ensure features are built to vision and spec.

● Define Acceptance Criteria: Write precise, clear acceptance criteria using Given When Then format, and lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure high quality rollouts.

● Drive Data Backed Insights: Use SQL, BI tools, or analytics dashboards to extract metrics, identify trends, and validate product feature performance.

● Manage Change and Scope: Act as the single source of truth for project scope, helping manage trade-offs between business priorities and technical feasibility.

What We Are Looking For (Requirements)

● Experience: 7+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, or Product Analyst within an IT company, consultancy, or SaaS environment.

● Location: Based in Tokyo, Japan (or willing to relocate).

● Language Skills: Business-level Japanese and English fluency to collaborate across local teams and global engineers.

● Methodology: Deep familiarity with Agile and Scrum environments, as well as product tools like Jira, Confluence, Miro, or Figma.

● Technical Savvy: Comfort reading API specs, writing basic SQL queries, and understanding database structures and system integration flows.

● Communication Power: Outstanding written and verbal communication skills. You can easily explain complex technical setups to non-technical business stakeholders, and vice versa.

● Education and Certifications: Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or equivalent experience. Certifications like CBAP or CSPO are a plus.
