About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Bricklayer to join our team on a full-time basis. This role offers the opportunity to work on a variety of residential and commercial construction projects across Sydney. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality bricklaying and masonry work while maintaining strong safety and workmanship standards.

Key Responsibilities
As a Bricklayer, you will be responsible for:
Reading and interpreting construction plans, drawings, and specifications to determine materials, measurements, and installation requirements.
Preparing and laying bricks, concrete blocks, pre-cut stone, and other masonry materials using mortar and other bonding agents.
Sealing foundations with damp-resistant materials where required.
Spreading and levelling mortar to create secure foundations and joints for masonry work.
Constructing and repairing walls, partitions, arches, fireplaces, chimneys, retaining walls, and other masonry structures.
Checking vertical and horizontal alignment using levels, plumb lines, and other measuring tools to ensure accuracy.
Cutting, shaping, and finishing bricks, blocks, and stone using hand tools and power equipment.
Shaping masonry materials to fit irregular spaces and complex designs.
Repairing, restoring, and maintaining existing brickwork and masonry structures.
Erecting and dismantling restricted-height scaffolding in accordance with Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) requirements.
Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised work environment while complying with all WHS regulations and Australian building standards.
Skills & Qualifications
To be considered for this role, you should have:
A relevant trade qualification in Bricklaying or a related field, or equivalent industry experience.
At least one year of full-time relevant experience as a Bricklayer.
Strong ability to read and interpret construction plans and technical drawings.
Sound knowledge of masonry techniques, building codes, and WHS requirements.
Experience using bricklaying tools, machinery, and equipment safely and effectively.
A current White Card (mandatory).
Good physical fitness and the ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Strong attention to detail, reliability, and excellent time management skills.
The ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
