#Key Responsibilities:

#SAP MDG Functional Responsibilities:

• Lead and support SAP MDG implementation, rollout, enhancement, and support projects.

• Work with business users to understand master data governance requirements and convert them into functional and technical specifications.

• Configure SAP MDG for master data domains such as:

o Business Partner

o Customer

o Supplier

o Material

• Design and configure Change Request types, workflows, approval steps, validations, derivations, and data models.

• Configure MDG UI, roles, authorizations, search, duplicate check, and governance scope.

• Work on MDG-M, MDG-BP, MDG-C, and MDG-S scenarios based on project needs.

• Define and manage governance processes for create, change, block, delete, and mass processing scenarios.

• Support data quality, data cleansing, data validation, and master data harmonization activities.

• Collaborate with business teams during requirement gathering, solution design, SIT, UAT, cutover, and go-live.

#SAP MDG Technical Responsibilities:

• Customize and enhance SAP MDG using ABAP, BAdIs, Web Dynpro, FPM, BRF+, and workflow.

• Implement validations and derivations using:

o BAdIs

o BRF+ rules

o Data model enhancements

o Cross-entity validations

• Configure and troubleshoot SAP Business Workflow for MDG Change Requests.

• Work on workflow agent determination, dynamic approver assignment, rule-based workflow, and workflow debugging.

• Develop and enhance UI components using Web Dynpro ABAP and Floorplan Manager.

• Implement custom fields, custom entities, and data model extensions in SAP MDG.

• Work with Service Mapping Tool, Value Mapping, Key Mapping, and SOA Manager configurations.

• Configure and troubleshoot data replication using:

o DRF

o ALE/IDoc

o SOA services

o RFC

o CPI/PI/PO integration where applicable

• Support integration with SAP ECC, SAP S/4HANA, SAP Ariba, SAP PLM, third-party systems, and external data providers.

• Perform debugging and root cause analysis for MDG workflows, replication failures, validation issues, and UI errors.
