General Laborer - First Shift

Description:

This position performs labor and production work with corrugated material.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Measure, cut, and/or assemble the material to produce boxes

Ensure proper abatement techniques according to regulations

Shape materials to the prescribed measurement using the assigned equipment

Give input to the warehouse supervisor on the status of warehouse workers on any performance issues, including productivity, attendance, safety, or quality, as noted

May be required to operate production machines in the warehouse

Requires maneuvering up to 60 pounds of material

Accurately record production data

First Shift Mondays - Fridays 6 am - 2 pm

Perform other duties as required or assigned by the Production Manager or SupervisorRequirements:

Adhere to all safety standards and personal protective equipment (PPE) guidelines

Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the work shift.

Frequently required to bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, twist, and reach while performing job duties.

Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials and finished products weighing up to 60 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Must be able to use hands and fingers for handling, grasping, assembling, and operating tools and production equipment.

Ability to visually inspect materials and products for quality and accuracy.

Capable of working in a manufacturing and warehouse environment with exposure to noise, dust, moving machinery, and varying temperatures.

Must be able to safely operate and move around production equipment and warehouse areas.
