Adjunct Instructor for the Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning & Refrigeration Program
Central Maine Community College seeks an adjunct HVAC/R instructor to teach a variety of evening classes. The individual should have a good understanding of the refrigeration cycle and HVAC/R electrical wiring and the ability to interact with students. Must have the ability to use computers in various capacities.
These courses are available for the fall semester 2026. The instructor will deliver curriculum, plan labs, order material and use a learning management system.
Minimum qualifications include:
Associate's degree or Certificate in Heating Ventilation Technology or significant work experience in the HVAC/R field.
Must have a good understanding of the refrigeration cycle and electrical control wiring for HVAC systems.
Must possess enthusiasm and passion for student learning and be able to respond to the needs of students using a variety of teaching methods.
