Licensure/Certifications: Valid Physician Assistant license in Texas; BLS/ACLS preferred
Experience: ICU and OR experience, especially with vein harvesting preferred

What You’ll Do:
Provide high-quality care to cardiac surgical patients in ICU, pre, and post-operative settings
Manage patients coming off vents and recovering from open heart, VATS, and lung cases
Assist with rounding and patient management through the surgical process
Support intraoperative procedures, including vein harvesting (preferred)
Collaborate closely with cardiac surgeons, nursing staff, and other team members
Document patient care accurately and thoroughly
Ensure compliance with hospital protocols and standards
What You Need:
Valid Physician Assistant license in Texas
Minimum 1 year of ICU and OR experience, with specific cardiac surgery exposure preferred
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
