Distribution & Logistics Manager

Our client is looking for a Distribution & Logistics Manager to oversee and optimize the distribution and logistics operations.

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement logistics strategies to support business objectives.

Manage warehousing, inventory control, fleet operations, and distribution planning.

Oversee daily logistics operations, ensuring timely dispatch and delivery of products.

Negotiate contracts with transporters and suppliers to achieve cost efficiency.

Monitor and analyze logistics KPIs, identifying areas for improvement.

Ensure compliance with health, safety, and regulatory standards.

Lead and mentor logistics staff, fostering a culture of accountability and performance.

Collaborate with sales, production, and finance teams to align logistics with overall business goals.

Implement systems and processes to improve accuracy, reduce costs, and enhance customer satisfaction.

Manage budgets, forecasts, and reporting for logistics and distribution function

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field.

Minimum 8 10 years' experience in logistics, distribution, or supply chain management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.

Strong knowledge of inventory management, fleet operations, and distribution planning.

Experience in FMCG or manufacturing industries preferred.
