Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Experience:

• 24 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• 12 months of Respiratory Unit experience.

• Experience with Epic is required.

• Trauma Level 1 experience is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >60 miles from facility to be submitted.

• 24 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Vaya Workforce Solutions - Nationwide Childrens and no current placement allowed at Program: Vaya Workforce Solutions - Nationwide Childrens.

Additional Details:

You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.

Required Skills/Experience: Must have 2 years overall experience, and 1 of those years full-time experience in a large hospital PICU (strongly prefer level 1 pediatric trauma center). Experience with Hamilton ventilators required.

Preferred Skills/Experience: Teaching hospital experience is preferred.

Unit Details: Must be willing to care for both high and low acuity PICU patients. Neonate, infant, pediatric, adolescent, and adult patient population. Cares for respiratory, trauma, pulmonary, and complex PICU patients in the Pediatric ICU, including long-term trach/vent patients.

Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend. Could be asked to work additional weekends; will be scheduled based on unit needs.

Floating Requirements: Float required: CTICU, NICU, H8A (pulmonary), Core (general/ED).

14 days maximum time off

2 Manager/Supervisor references required from within the last 12 months

Proof of identification required

Certifications:

• BLS (Basic Life Support)

• RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist)

• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
