Physician-led, hospital-employed split-shift opportunity in a Top 100 Hospital with full intensivist and specialty support.
Join a collaborative and well-established hospitalist program at Baptist St. Anthonys Hospital, a 450-bed regional referral center in the heart of the Texas Panhandle. The BSA Hospitalist Group includes 36 board-certified/board-eligible physicians and 8 advanced practice providers managing a daily census of approximately 230-240 patients. This opportunity offers autonomy with strong system support, 24/7 intensivist backup, and a collegial culture known for stability and teamwork.
About the Role
Our split shift team provides admissions, ICU and floor cross-coverage, and NP supervision with dedicated support from intensivists and the day and nocturnist team.
Schedule: 2 PM - 2 AM or 3 PM - 3 AM (12-hour shift) 7-on / 7-off
Primary Duties: Our service provides inpatient care for patients referred by community physicians and the emergency room.
ICU: Semi-open model with 24/7 medical and surgical intensivist coverage; hospitalists may manage selected ICU patients in coordination
Procedures: Optional - central line and airway skills encouraged but not required; vascular access team handles most lines; RT, ICU, and Anesthesia available for airway support
EMR: Epic
