Job Description

The CDL Class A Driver will be responsible for safely operating commercial vehicles on local routes, managing schedules, and ensuring the timely delivery of goods. This role requires daily vehicle inspections and solo driving, emphasizing safety, efficiency, and excellent customer interaction throughout the process.

Responsibilities

Operate commercial vehicles safely on local routes

Navigate assigned routes efficiently and independently

Handle loading and unloading of cargo

Comply with all safety regulations and company policies

Perform daily vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs

Complete accurate documentation for deliveries and vehicle logs

Interact professionally with customers during pickups and deliveries

Manage driving schedules to meet timely delivery goals

Required Qualifications

2+ years of experience in commercial driving

Valid CDL Class A license

Clean Driving Record

Preferred Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent

Demonstrated safe driving practices

Experience with route planning

Proficient in vehicle inspections

Strong time management skills

Effective communication abilities

Basic mechanical knowledge

Customer service experience
