This CRNA opportunity offers ongoing locum coverage at a Michigan Level II Trauma Center, working within a collaborative anesthesia care team under anesthesiologist supervision. Providers will care for a diverse patient population ranging from pediatric to geriatric patients, with a primary focus on general surgery cases and additional exposure to neurosurgical procedures, spinal anesthesia, and airway management. The facility is seeking candidates who can start as soon as possible and provide consistent ongoing coverage. Dates & Schedule

Providers do not need availability for these specific dates to be considered
Schedule:
hours per week
8-hour or 10-hour shifts
Must be available to work either Monday or Friday every week
No on-call responsibilities required outside scheduled shifts

Administer anesthesia for general surgical procedures in adult and pediatric patients
Provide anesthesia care for neurosurgical cases
Perform spinal anesthesia and local infiltration anesthesia as clinically indicated
Manage ventilation and continuously monitor respiratory status during procedures
Deliver anesthesia services under direct supervision within a team-based anesthesia model
Monitor patients throughout the perioperative continuum, including pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative phases
Utilize Epic EMR for anesthesia documentation and patient records
Adhere to hospital policies, safety standards, and procedural protocols
Practice in a hospital-based Level II Trauma Center environment
Support a surgical service handling approximately 50 cases daily
Work across multiple operating rooms with assignments based on departmental needs
Respond to emergencies and provide airway management, including intubation when necessary Required Skills & Qualifications
Board Certified CRNA (NBCRNA) Required
Active Michigan CRNA license Required
Minimum 1 year of CRNA experience Required
ACLS and BLS certifications through the American Heart Association Required
PALS certification Required
Clean background history Required
Current Self-Query NPDB report (obtained within the past month) Required at presentation
