Cardiac arrhythmia care is one of the fastest-growing specialties in cardiovascular medicine — and a regional health system in the Arkansas Ozarks wants an APRN to help lead it. Join a new collaborative electrophysiology team providing full-continuum care, from pre-procedural workups to long-term device management.
Position Summary
As a core member of the cardiovascular care team, you'll work hand-in-hand with a fellowship trained electrophysiologist and a multidisciplinary team to deliver evidence-based care across the full patient journey — outpatient visits, pre-procedural evaluation, post-procedural follow-up, and long-term device management.
Required Qualifications
Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) from an accredited program
Current, unencumbered APRN license (NP or CNS) in the state of practice
National board certification: FNP-BC, ACNP-BC, AGACNP-BC, or ACPC-CMC (Adult-Gerontology Acute Care preferred)
Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in cardiology, cardiac ICU, cardiac step-down, or EP setting
Current BLS and ACLS certification
DEA registration or eligibility
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in electrophysiology, device clinic, or cardiac arrhythmia management
Cardiac Medicine certification (CMC) through AACN or equivalent EP-focused credential
Proficiency in device interrogation for at least one major manufacturer (Medtronic, Abbott, Boston Scientific, Biotronik)
Familiarity with remote monitoring platforms (Merlin.net, CareLink, Latitude, BIOTRONIK Home Monitoring, MURJ, etc.)
Experience with Cerner, Epic, or similar EHR systems
Bilingual skills a plus
