Selenium Automation Tester

Introduction

We are seeking an experienced professional with a focus on automation testing using Selenium and RAFT. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background and experience in banking or financial applications. This role requires prior client experience with a good manager reference.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of experience in software testing and QA activities

Strong hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver and RAFT

Expertise in Automation Testing frameworks

Experience with API Automation (REST services)

Proficiency in at least one programming language: Java or Python

Experience in database testing and automating DB scripts

Good understanding of Accessibility testing (WCAG 2.1 standards)

Strong knowledge of SDLC, STLC, and Agile/Scrum methodologies

Strong development and problem-solving skills

Experience with CI/CD integration (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, etc.)

Prior work experience at client or in client's industry

Applicants must be able to work directly for the company on W2.

Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using Selenium and RAFT

Build and maintain robust automation frameworks

Perform API automation testing and integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and ensure test coverage

Automate database validation and DB scripts

Implement and validate Accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1)

Participate in Agile/Scrum processes including sprint planning and daily stand-ups

Analyze defects, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high-quality deliverables

Translate technical design documents into effective testing solutions
