Shift: Days (7:00 AM – 3:30 PM or 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM)

Schedule: 40 Hours/Week

Join MaineHealth Mid Coast Hospital and LincolnHealth as a Travel Echo Technologist, providing high-quality cardiac imaging across two community-focused hospitals along Maine’s beautiful Midcoast. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced cardiac sonographer who enjoys a collaborative environment while working with state-of-the-art imaging technology.

Located between Brunswick and Damariscotta, you’ll enjoy easy access to Maine’s scenic coastline, charming waterfront communities, hiking trails, fresh seafood, and endless outdoor recreation.

Position Details

• Specialty: Cardiac Sonography (Echo)

• Assignment Length: 13 Weeks

• Schedule: 40 hours per week

• Shift Options:

• 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

• 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

• Float: Required between MaineHealth Mid Coast Hospital (Brunswick) and LincolnHealth (Damariscotta)

• Philips EPIQ Ultrasound System

• Electronic Medical Record:

• Epic

Requirements

• Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) or Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS)

• Current BLS certification

• Minimum of 2 years of Echo experience

• Experience performing:

• Transthoracic Echocardiograms (TTE)

• Transesophageal Echocardiograms (TEE)

• Stress Echocardiograms

• Ability to perform approximately 6–7 studies per day

• IV insertion skills preferred but not required

• Positive attitude with strong teamwork and communication skills
