Assignment Details

• Location: Springfield, Ohio

• Practice Setting: Inpatient/Hospital-Based

• Coverage Dates: August 7, 2026 (7:00 AM) August 10, 2026 (7:00 AM)

• Urgent coverage needed

• Community hospital

Compensation:

24 Hour On Call - $2805 per 24 hours

Call Back - $530/hr

Schedule

• Daily inpatient rounding

• 24-hour call coverage

• In-house and beeper/phone call

• Physician Assistant covers after-hours calls unless otherwise directed by the surgeon

Clinical Details

• Adult and geriatric patient population

• 100% inpatient

• Average Daily Census: 2 4 patients (may vary based on inpatient volume)

• EMR: Epic

• Responsibilities include:

• Daily postoperative management of vascular surgery patients

• Emergency vascular surgical procedures

• Inpatient consultations

• Emergency Department consults and referrals

• Hospital-wide vascular surgery consults

• Acute care hospital (non-trauma center)

Requirements

• Board Certified in Vascular Surgery

• Active Ohio medical license (required; no exceptions)

• ACLS certification

• DEA required

• Clean background with no malpractice or license issues

• Must be available for the requested coverage dates

Credentialing

• Less than 2 weeks

• Temporary privileges available
