Gabletek – Commissioning / Startup Technician Opportunities

Gabletek is currently seeking experienced Commissioning and Startup Technicians for an upcoming project in Calvert, Alabama starting June 3rd. We are looking for multiple resources to support a fast-paced industrial startup environment.

Job Responsibilities

PLC commissioning and startup support

VFD (SINAMICS) parameterization and encoder configuration

Troubleshooting electrical and controls systems

Safety system validation including E-stops, limit switches, overload protection, and full control/power system testing

No-load testing and system verification

Emergency brake programming integrated with PLC and MH Drive

Verification and testing of control logic per operation philosophy

Completion of remaining electrical and commissioning points on-site

Support load testing and startup activities as needed

Requirements

Experience with industrial commissioning and startup projects

Strong PLC troubleshooting and commissioning background

Experience with SINAMICS drives and VFD parameterization preferred

Ability to work long hours and travel as required

Strong electrical and controls troubleshooting skills

Ability to work independently in a fast-paced startup environment
