Research Assistant

Applicants should have (i) a Bachelor’s degree or above in Nursing, Public Health, Psychology, Gerontology, Health Sciences, Social Sciences, or a related discipline; (ii) at least two to three years of relevant work experience, preferably in clinical, community-based, or behavioural intervention research; (iii) a good command of written and spoken Cantonese and English; (iv) experience in conducting and co-ordinating research studies, including participant recruitment, screening, data collection, follow-up, and study documentation; (v) the ability to work independently, carefully, and responsibly with older adults and community partners; (vi) good knowledge of MS Office applications and statistical software such as SPSS. Experience in randomised controlled trials, questionnaire administration, and quantitative data management is preferred. Experience with REDCap or mHealth-based research would be an advantage. Duties include (a) assisting in data collection; (b) implementing intervention protocols; (c) performing literature search and review; (d) assisting in data management and report writing; and (e) performing other administrative work as required.
