Highly Motivated Residential Electrical Apprentice

Electric Service Company is looking for a highly motivated Residential Electrical Apprentice who wants to learn, improve, and become a skilled electrician. The right person will be energetic, reliable, professional, and willing to learn from experienced electricians.

Job Responsibilities

Assist electricians with residential service work, remodels, and new installations

Install wiring, lighting, receptacles, switches, panels, and electrical equipment

Carry and organize tools and materials

Maintain clean and safe job sites

Help troubleshoot electrical problems

Follow electrical codes, company procedures, and safety requirements

Communicate respectfully with customers and coworkers

Learn new skills and take on additional responsibility as experience increases

Qualifications

Electrical or construction experience is preferred, but not required

Must be willing to register as an electrical apprentice

Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Basic ability to use hand tools and power tools

Able to lift materials, climb ladders, and work in attics and crawl spaces

Must be dependable, honest, and drug-free

Must be able to work independently and as part of a team
