Bus Aide (Pool Only)

Special Needs Bus Aides Hiring Pool

Hours: Upcoming school year beginning August 24, 2026, except scheduled holidays Monday-Thursday, hours vary.

Pay Rate: $17.25/hour

Responsibilities:

Adhere to the safety requirements when buckling a student into a car seat or safety vest

Report any problems with the safety vest or car seat to the bus driver

Follow all recommendations in loading/unloading/transportation procedures as defined by the IEP/504 team

Ensure the safety of students during loading/unloading/transportation

Report any medical incidents to the Special Education Director

Consistent attendance

Training preferred: CPR

Positive behavior management strategies

Student-specific interventions/medical plans
