Substitutes Needed

Substitutes are needed in all schools for the following positions:

Teacher

Instructional Assistant

Secretary

Child Nutrition Program Assistant

Custodian

School Health Assistant (EMT-B Certification Required)

School Nurse (RN licensure or EMT-B Certification required)

Steps to becoming a substitute in ACPS:

Apply online

Register for a sub workshop

Get a background check done

Fill out tax forms and payroll information

We will set you up in the sub system once all paperwork is complete and email you a copy of your login information.

*We do not make contact with you after you have applied. Please register for a sub workshop on our website as soon as you apply.

**Steps 3 and 4 can be completed when you are in the building for the sub workshop.
