Swim Lesson Instructor / Water Safety Instructor

Do you enjoy working with children and adults, love being in the water, and have a passion for helping others learn? Join our aquatics team as a Swim Lesson Instructor/Water Safety Instructor and help participants develop the skills and confidence they need to be safe and successful in and around the water.
Whether you're teaching a child's first swim lesson or helping an adult improve their technique, you'll play an important role in creating a positive, encouraging, and safe learning environment.
What You'll Do
Teach swim lessons and water safety skills to participants of varying ages and abilities.
Create a welcoming and supportive atmosphere that encourages learning and confidence.
Adapt instruction to meet individual needs and learning styles.
Ensure participant safety by following established aquatics policies and procedures.
Provide clear instruction, demonstrations, and constructive feedback.
Track participant progress and celebrate achievements.
Communicate effectively with participants, parents, and guardians.
Maintain a positive and professional presence in and around the pool.

Qualifications
Current Swim Lesson Instructor or Water Safety Instructor certification preferred.
Current CPR/AED and First Aid certification or ability to obtain within required timeframes.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Ability to work effectively with children, adults, and families.
Prior swim instruction experience preferred but not required, depending on certification level.
We welcome Swim Lesson Instructor and Water Safety Instructor certifications from a variety of accredited organizations. While American Red Cross certifications are preferred, equivalent certifications from other recognized and reputable training providers will be considered.
