PT Groundskeeper/Grounds Maintenance

The purpose of this classification is to perform unskilled to semi-skilled work to maintain facilities, grounds, equipment, and rights-of-way in the City.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS - Adheres to established safety procedures; monitors work environment and use of safety equipment to ensure safety of employees and other individuals; flags and directs traffic and places markers, signs and cones around project/work site to ensure safety of crew and the traveling public; and follows safety practices and wears protective gear.

Clears leaves, tree limbs and other debris from sidewalks and rights of way; performs litter control of rights of way and beaches; prunes trees spreads and hauls ground cover, dirt, gravel or mulch.
