Events & Experiences Assistant - Part Time (Nights & Weekends)

Campbell County Library is currently seeking a part-time Events & Experiences Assistant. This is a part-time position (10 hrs/week) for nights and weekends.

This position will serve the Rustburg, Timberlake and Altavista areas of the county.

Duties:

Provide storytimes and other children's programming in Campbell County parks and libraries, area daycares, preschools, etc.

Create Pop Up Library experiences in various areas of Campbell County

Attend community events with a contact table or Pop Up Library (ex. Fall festivals, VBS, Saturday and Sunday festivals, Farmer's Markets etc)

Provide outreach to area churches and businesses

Partnering with area organizations to provide library services, as appropriate

Assist with preparation and execution of large scale events in or outside of Campbell County parks and libraries (such as the annual Halloween event or Santa night)

Being a brand ambassador for Campbell County to stakeholders
