Position: Stepdown/MST RN (Hybrid Unit) Location: Riverside Methodist Hospital Shift: Night Shift, 3/12's. Every other weekend. Every other holiday. 11 week contract with ability to extend. BLS - Must be able to read & interpret Telemetry independently. Large hospital experience strongly preferred. Will consider 1 year of experience. Will consider up to two weeks of RTO. 1,059 bed Level II trauma, and magnet hospital. 40 bed hybrid unit, float to med/sur or intermediate units (if qualified) no call requirements, every other weekend, ratios are 1:3-6 acuity dependent and flexible. Can take tele trained nurses, also have intermediate patients including trach ventilated patients.

Patient Diagnoses: renal failure, liver failure, COPD, CHF, DKA, infections, ETOH withdrawal, drug withdrawal, dementia, UTI, AMS, failure to thrive, afib and other cardiac conditions. Medical unit, so medical concerns are definitely paramount, do have some surgical patients.

Special Procedures/Unit Details: Flexible ratios acuity dependent.

Pre-Start Requirements: Lab work must be completed within 48 hours of signing. EKG/Dysrhythmia exam must be completed within 72 hours of signing. Submission Details: Requested Time Off (RTO): Max 10 days per contract; no RTO allowed during initial weeks of assignment. References: Not required. Local Radius: Permanent address must be 100 miles from OhioHealth Grant Medical Center (111 S Grant Ave, Columbus, OH 43215). Licensure: Any active state RN or compact license accepted. EPIC charting experience required. Return Staff Policy: RN must have a 366-day separation from OhioHealth employment before returning as a traveler. PRN employees may not accept travel assignments while actively employed PRN. Facility Notes: Modules: Non-billable; approximately 12 hours total; completed pre-start and factored into NBO. Parking: Free in any unrestricted space; no pass required. Floating: Travelers are first to float. Attendance: More than one call-off = termination; NCNS = immediate termination. Every other weekend and every other holiday required.
