Location: El Segundo, CA OR Seal Beach, CA

Overview

Seeking an experienced Java Developer to support the design, development, enhancement, and maintenance of enterprise software applications within a secure environment. This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams in an Agile setting to deliver scalable, high-quality solutions.

Responsibilities include software design, coding, unit and integration testing, troubleshooting, issue resolution, and supporting the full software development lifecycle. The ideal candidate will have experience developing modern web applications and working within cloud-based environments.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, or a related technical field

8+ years of professional software development experience

8+ years of hands-on Java development experience

Strong understanding of software development methodologies and best practices

Experience supporting enterprise-level applications

Technical Requirements

Java

Spring Framework

Hibernate

REST and SOAP web services

HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript

jQuery or similar JavaScript frameworks

Oracle, MySQL, MongoDB, or comparable databases

XML and related web technologies

Maven, Gradle, or similar build tools

AWS or cloud-based infrastructure

Git or similar version control systems

Preferred Skills

Experience working in Agile development environments

Knowledge of CI/CD practices

Experience with Docker and Kubernetes

Familiarity with Test-Driven Development (TDD)

Experience with Jira and Atlassian tools

Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills

Clearance Requirement

Active Top Secret clearance required

SCI eligibility required
