TOOL AND DIE MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN

We have an immediate job opening for a TOOL AND DIE TECHNICIAN at our Clarkesville, GA location. We offer a complete benefits package. Work Schedule

Monday – Thursday, 6:30 am – 5:00 pm.

Responsibilities

Change dies to run various parts. Sharpen and maintain dies for production.

Occasional machining as needed for die repair.

Operate tool room equipment (lathes, milling machines, surface grinders, and drill presses)

Check operations to verify compliance to blueprint specifications.

Use specified measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, comparator)

Work closely with Department Manager and Stamping Press Operators to resolve quality problems.

Requirements

Ability to read and interpret prints and work to close tolerances.

2-year degree in machine tool or equivalent experience

1 year die maintenance preferred
