Cloud-Native Backend Developer

Duration: 6+ months Location: Philadelphia, PA Columbus, OH Nashville, TN Dallas, TX Tampa, FL

Design, build, and enhance cloud-native backend services that power scalable applications. Develop secure, high-performance APIs and microservices using Python while leveraging AWS Lambda and modern database technologies. Contribute to automated testing and continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) practices to ensure reliable software delivery.

Requirements:

10+ years of professional software development experience, including 8+ years of hands-on Python application development building enterprise-grade backend services.

Strong experience designing and developing RESTful APIs, microservices, and serverless applications using AWS Lambda.

Hands-on experience with Aurora PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, and Liquibase, along with automated testing, CI/CD practices, and building cloud-native backend services on AWS.

Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Python.

Build and enhance RESTful APIs supporting distributed microservices.

Develop serverless workloads using AWS Lambda.

Design and integrate data models with Aurora PostgreSQL and DynamoDB.

Implement automated testing and support CI/CD pipelines for reliable deployments.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, maintainable, and high-quality software.
