Answering Service Representative

Job Summary

We are a 24/7/365 day live agent Answering Service. We are looking to add another Answering Service Representative to our team. The Answering Service Representative role involves managing inbound calls with precision and professionalism. This self-managed position requires a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and the ability to multitask efficiently while documenting calls and dispatching drivers as needed. The ideal candidate will be able handle calls in a solo work environment, while providing reliable and accurate service . Since we answer calls for business when they are closed applicant must be available to work weekends and holidays there are no travel requirements. We are located at 1320 Court st. Redding, Ca. This is not a remote position. We are looking for someone who can work Weekends and Holidays

Responsibilities

Manage multi-line phone systems

Handle inbound calls promptly and professionally

Direct calls accurately to the appropriate departments or personnel

Take detailed, accurate messages and verify caller information

Dispatch drivers to locations as required

Demonstrate patience and effective telephone etiquette

Support office operations by performing clerical duties such as filing, photocopying, and managing office supplies

Requirements:

The ability to work Weekends and Holidays.

Strong customer service and communication skills

Effective problem-solving abilities

Excellent time management and multitasking skills

Patience and professional telephone etiquette

Basic typing skills

Stellar work ethic and reliability

English proficient: both written and spoken; Bi-lingual is a plus but not required
