Machine Operator – Chamfer: Roscoe, Illinois

Our customer in Roscoe, Illinois is looking for a hardworking, detail-oriented individual to join their team as a Machine Operator – Chamfer Grinding to work full-time on 2nd shift. In this role, you will operate chamfer machines to produce parts that meet quality and production standards. Training will take place on 1st shift before transitioning to 2nd shift.

Responsibilities of the Machine Operator – Chamfer:

Operate manual chamfer grinding machines according to work instructions.

Grind parts to required tolerances and quality specifications.

Run multiple machines as needed to meet production goals.

Enter production data accurately into the YGS system.

Follow ISO work instructions and quality standards at all times.

Monitor parts throughout the process to ensure consistent quality.

Maintain a clean, organized, and 5S-compliant work area.

Follow all safety procedures and actively work to eliminate unsafe conditions.

Perform additional tasks as assigned by management.

Machine Operator – Chamfer Requirements and Qualifications:

General machining or grinding experience required.

Ability to grind parts to specified tolerances.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.

Reliable attendance and ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Willingness to train on 1st shift before moving to 2nd shift.

Pay for Machine Operator – Chamfer Grinding:

$20.00/hour.
